PVSD Chorus 2023-24

The PVSD Chorus will offer two sections: Little Melodies and Grace Notes! Each section of the chorus will have its own repertoire but will collaborate for some rehearsals and musical pieces. All new singers and returners of various experience levels are welcome!

The purpose of PVSD Chorus is to provide high-quality choral training and performance opportunities for students in grades 1-8. Some of the performance opportunities PVSD Chorus has had are as follows: the Fall and Spring Concert, Camarillo Christmas Parade, singing with the CSUCI University Chorus, collaborations with local high school choirs, and performing with the Channel Islands Chamber Orchestra.

Students will grow musically through basic music fundamentals, rhythm recognition and function, expression and movement, and especially singing which includes voice technique and the value of performance itself.
